About the Founder
Blair Souder, MS, LPC, NCC
Blair Souder is the founder and owner of Gracefield Counseling. Blair is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is also Board certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC)
As a result of his own transformational experiences in mid-life, Blair is committed to helping individuals experiencing psychological, mental, emotional and relationship challenges to lead lives of greater joy and fulfillment. Beyond Blair's private practice, his counseling experiences include rehabilitating homeless populations in local cities, counseling inmates in high security prisons, and supporting patients and families in hospice settings.
Blair's background also includes a successful career as a business executive where he has a strong track record of developing teams and individuals.
Blair's education includes an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Neumann University, where he was honored with the St Francis of Assisi Award in recognition of his outstanding work with clients and academic achievements. Blair also holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
Blair is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). He is also is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) from the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP) and has received official training in the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) by the EMDR Institute of America.
Gracefield Counseling accepts private pay and also participates with select health insurance programs.
